As a long-time Burlington resident, wife, and mother of two adult children, Emily Brown understands what makes the community special. Her commitment to Burlington’s growth and well-being is more than political – it’s personal.

As a business professor at Sheridan College, Brown connects daily with young people striving to build their futures. Brown says, “I see the challenges they face, including rising costs, uncertainty, and a growing sense that opportunity is slipping away. And that’s why I’m stepping up as the Conservative candidate for Burlington.”

Over the years, Brown has rolled up her sleeves and given her time to organizations like the Canadian Wildlife Federation, St. John Ambulance, Scouts Canada, the Living Arts Centre, Junior Achievement, and as a youth basketball coach.

In your opinion, what’s the biggest issue facing the Burlington riding, and how will you address it?

The biggest issue facing Burlington isn’t just one thing—it’s the broader decline in affordability, the need for sensible, managed immigration, and the erosion of the rule of law. These aren’t isolated local issues anymore; they’re symptoms of failing Liberal policies. “It’s about who you are as a person,” Emily Brown seeking second Burlington Conservative Association nomination

Emily Brown, a mathematics professor at Sheridan College and local politician, is hoping to win back-to-back nominations from the Burlington Conservative Association (BCA) to run against Burlington MP Karina Gould for a second time.
