About Emily
Emily was born in a small town in SW Ontario to a stay at home mom, and a career military father. She was raised on Conservative values of family, hard work, respect for others, serving your community and your country. She is the mother of two grown sons, and with her husband, makes Burlington home.
Her work and studies took her to communities in Ontario, across Canada and abroad, where she has made valued connections that will last a lifetime. When not working, or volunteering, Emily competes in clay target shooting, a sport she has enjoyed since her teens.
She shares a love of nature and the outdoors, with Burlington providing the perfect place to enjoy hiking, walking and cycling trails and scenic views over Lake Ontario.
In 2021, I was the Conservative Candidate for the Riding of Burlington. For the past 2 years I served as the Candidate of Record. Currently I am running to be the Candidate in Burlington once again.
I asked friends & colleagues to give me 3 words that best described me.

My THANK YOU Letter from Election 2021:
Thank you most sincerely to all the amazing volunteers, donors and supporters! Right from the start, the numbers who came forward were overwhelming. Some were new Canadians who were able to vote for the first time in Canada, and others had voted for over 60 years. We had teenagers, university students, parents and grandparents all excited to help in any way they could. There were folks who had lived their whole lives in Burlington and some who were new to the city but they had this in common, they wanted to see a Conservative MP in Ottawa representing them and the things they value most.
In this very short election period of 35 days, we raised the profile of Canada’s Conservatives in Burlington, meeting thousands at the door, in the campaign office, over the phone and computer, and as we went about life in the city. We committed every day to fight for this Riding, and vowed to win or lose with honesty and integrity. We never compromised that.
This team was amazing, moving us forward every day. Their commitment before the campaign, during and now afterwards makes Burlington one of the best places to live.
Nominated as candidate only a few weeks before the election call meant an incredible pivot from nominee to candidate and from nomination team to election campaign team, but none of that slowed us down.
I can now proudly return to the classroom where I can say that we fought hard to make Canada the best it can be for the future, and it is not over yet.
Thanks again!
